Thunderbirds – Cheyenne, Wyoming
Remember on the previous posting how I mentioned Meriam’s excitement about getting to see (for the first time) the Thunderbirds? Checkout the photograph of her in this posting!
As it turns out, the Thunderbirds flew for the public the very first time here in Cheyenne. The year was 1953.
We hope you enjoy the photographs and feel our pride and excitement.
Note: The last photograph was taken by Meriam with her new iPhone! That’s me in the foreground with the camera. Goes to show you do not need a fancy camera to take a good photograph!

P.S. The Thunderbirds are flying the F-16.
P.P.S. Be sure to count the number of planes in the second photograph!!
